API keys and webhooks

Automate your listings and offers, and get notified of events on your own server.

• Create API keys on the Developers page. A key is shown once; we only store a hash of it.
• Give each key only the scopes it needs (read, account:read, listings:write, offers:write). Revoke keys you stop using.
• Webhooks send signed JSON to your https URL when something happens on your orders, offers, auctions or messages. Verify the signature, and ignore events whose id you already processed.
• Never put an API key in a website or app that runs in someone else's browser.
